SUBMISSION OF EXHIBITION PROJECTS
L'Espace Photographique Contretype, an arts centre for contemporary photography in Brussels, exhibits and promotes creative photography of all "genres", without exception. (explore the Web Site). Open to a plurality of approaches and innovative forms, Contretype pays particular attention to the quality of the artistic proposals, their sense and the sensibility they convey.
Serving both as a launching pad for emerging artists and a laboratory for new projects by established artists, Contretype examines proposals from artists and exhibition curators until May of each year.
The portfolios are submitted to a Programming Committee composed of artists, representatives of the specialised press and cultural institutions, critics and the members of the Contretype Management Board.
